Adoption Requirements
To qualify for adoption through Animal Rescue Clinic, you must:
-Be at least 18 years old
-Have a valid driver's license or state identification card stating your current address
-Have the knowledge and consent of a landlord, if relevant
-Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide proper medical treatment, nourishment, and care for this pet for the rest of its life
-Maintain proper veterinary care for all animals currently in your care; this includes keeping all pets up to date on core vaccinations, having all pets spayed/neutered, and keeping pets up to date on preventatives (this policy may only be waived if age and/or medical conditions prevents the animal from safely receiving specific types of preventative care and must be confirmed by the animals' veterinarian)
-Complete, in full, our adoption application and agreement
-Provide pet's adoption fee (amount will vary on a case-by-case basis, but serves as a donation to ARC to help us continue caring for animals in need)
There may be additional requirements established on a case-by-case basis due to the very specific medical needs some of our adoptable pets have. Those requirements will be listed in their adoption information and can be discussed in detail with potential adopters.
